Like I Said...

So I'm trying to keep up with this blog but I am truly horrible at this. The majority of the people who read this and was meant for I'll be seeing in a few weeks so there won't be much to post but I'll try to anyway. Always new adventures in Toronto and I'm so excited!

Well, I have been busy and you all know why, if not, here's a little recap through pictures...

Yup, I'm certainly growing something in there. Who knows what it could be... We'll just have to wait in September! The last picture is current with me being 28 weeks which means, I'm finally in my THIRD trimester!

That's enough of that now. Until next time people, I still have a few more things to share that I've been lacking on and just feel like posting and sharing. Have a wonderful day! :)

Enjoying This Patio Weather...

Another sunny day on the east coast and since I'm finally back blogging. (Writing this on Dave's computer because our lovely cats, not sure which awesome one did it, ate through my(Jes) charging cable. I have to go online and order a new one because it's a 2007 laptop and I have no idea where to get a new cord besides the actual site.) It's been SEVEN months since I wrote a blog and I actually intended on writing one since my birthday and actually the bigger news before that. I'll be posting late post about my birthday, most likely this week about January and my birthday. Anyways, here's how we enjoyed today's weather...

Our first stop was heading to downtown Fredericton for a lovely walk around the city. I'm thinking everyone was still at Ribfest since it was the last day and the very first there. We window shopped and grabbed a few things for the house. Above are my snacks and the reasons why I took their pictures because YESTERDAY(May 31st) was Macaroon Day and totally forgot to celebrate so here's to a late celebration and second, a forgotten love,  Italian sodas, flavour is cherry. Second Cup was right, I felt a lot of love in that cup.

Here's us uptown at Montana's for lunch, water for me and Coor's Light for him, yup on the patio.

And our lunch, yummy yummy lunch. Dave's Chicken Balsamic Salad and my Buffalo Sandwich with fries on the side with their new dip.

Yes, we spend our day just roaming the streets, eating on a patio and a little bit of shopping for the home...and Harrison. Harrison? Who's Harrison? Stay tuned! He's another post I'll be blogging about soon. Hope you all had a fantastic weekend like we did. Happy Monday tomorrow everyone!

East Coast's Very First Ribfest...

Finally... Ribfest has hit the east! Once I found out the news, about a month ago, I told everybody and anybody and what was the usual response? "What's Ribfest?" What's Ribfest? What's RIBFEST you ask? You should've seen the looks I gave these people, but then the joy after explaining how amaaaazing this fest of ribs is.
On to the day of Ribfest, below will show you the amount we ate, the choices we picked and the cool people we went with, and yes they were first time ribfesters.

Our very first choice was actually Crabby's because it's what we usually get whenever we hit up Ribfest. Second, and me being alone on this choice, was Pig Kahuna, I was feeling a little Hawaiian-y that day. And last but not least, Ribs Royale. All these were just yummy. Dave enjoyed Ribs Royale and I enjoyed Pig Kahuna.

These two awesome peeps were our ribbing buddies, Hayden and Ashley, first time at a Ribfest. (Look at that stock!)

Our load filled with ribs, pulled pork and chicken sided with Coca-Cola, A&W rootbeer, Moosehead light and agua.

What's inside? Oooh yeah. That's one hungry looking caveman.

And us, somewhat traditional picture we take at every Ribfest.

This concludes our Ribfest day adventure in Fredericton, NB. First year and many more to come on the east coast for sure. I'd say it was a hit, good music, great fun and one thing I didn't take pictures of and almost forgot to include was only for the kids though. inflatableland filled with all the bouncy castles you can think of and shooting range for kids and etc. Yup, good day. Then Dave and I hit up the mall to get some Yeh! and Starbucks.
